Betty Jean Meyer, 73, of Orlando, Fl. passed away on June 28, 2011 with her family beside her side.Betty was born on July 6, 1937 in Plant City, Fl. She was the oldest of 10 children.Betty married Roger M. Meyer Sr.,in 1956 and moved to Orlando,in1976.She is survived by her husband Roger Meyer Sr., and three children, her son Roger Meyer Jr. of Orlando, Fl. daughter Renee (Dave) Johnson of Athens, Alabama and her son Richard (Kelli) Meyer of Orlando, Fl. and her 9 grandchildren. Betty is also survived by her brothers Roger Hawkins and John Hawkins, sisters Barbara Fordham, Charlotte Teston, Linda Hudson,Nancy Tatum, Donna Hawkins and Marie Kellson. A visitation will be held on Friday July 2, 2011 from 6-8pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with a reception to follow from 1-3pm in the funeral home library.Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
