Charles “Charlie” Forest Bussard, age 87, of Orlando, Florida passed away on December 2, 2021 in Melbourne, Florida. Charles was born in Minnihaha, West Virginia on October 25, 1934 to two loving parents; William C. and Lucy (Rider) Bussard. Charles joined the Air Force and proudly served his country during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After the military he took up a career in painting for Walt Disney World, and was an active member of the American Legion Post 286.
He is survived by his two cherished sons; Michael (Brenda) Dayton, and William Dayton. Loving Daughter; Patty Garden. Beloved sister; Linda Oxley. Adored Grandchildren; Jason, Briana, Hannah, and Angela. And his dear Great-Grandchildren; Paige, Liam, Logan, Tatum, Gianna, and Giovanni.
Charlies is pre-deceased in death by his parents; William and Lucy, and his sweetheart; Delores Eilene Sullivan Bussard.
A graveside service for Charles will be held Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
