Chelsea Brooke Torres

Chelsea Brooke Torres, a beautiful young daughter, sister, and friend. Her very short life was spent making people laugh and always brightening up a room with her smile. She was an extremely talented young lady with huge dreams and ambitions. Chelsea was born on December 19, 1989 at the Winter Park Hospital. Chelsea is the daughter of Kathleen Linnemeier and Michael Torres; older sister to Dillon and Kirstin Olson and Michael and Jenna Torres; maternal grandparents, Judy and Ralph Linn; paternal grandparents, Carmen Colon and Miguel Torres, Sr. Chelsea passed on December 19, 2010 at 3:15am just hours into her 21st birthday. She graduated from Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, FL in 2008 where she was captain 2 years, on the Varsity Cheerleading Squad. She was currently attending the University of Central Florida studying Event Management at the Rosen School for Hospitality. There will be a memorial held at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Wednesday, at 6pm. Chelsea would have loved everyone to wear bright attire including her favorite color, lime green. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dr. Phillips High School Choral Department.
