Daniel Frank William Berry

He fought his illness with grace, humor, dignity, integrity and courage. Born on March 7th 1952, in Leicester, England to June & Jesse Berry, he attended DeMontfort High School and later worked for the family business Frank Berry Limited in Leicester. Daniel married Shelia Hill and they had two sons Edmund and Toby. Daniel and Shelia went their separate ways as destiny had different plans for them. Daniel later met Jayne and after several trips to see her father in Florida, U.S.A decided to make it their permanent home in November 1988. Daniel married Jayne Spivey in Orlando, on Feb 21st 1989 and went on to enjoy a 27 year career at Universal Studios as a Security Officer. He retired April 1st 2019. Daniel enjoyed his retirement by playing pool with his friends, reading books and taking long walks. Daniel easily made friends, and always had a big heart.

Daniel loved visiting the theme parks, going to concerts, shopping in unique stores and flea markets, going on cruises for vacation, Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes and and enjoyed dining in different restaurants, movies and music. Daniel loved living in the U.S.A and was very proud of his citizenship. Christmas was his favorite time of year. Daniel was always honest with his opinions but always brought a smile, and happiness to those that he met. Daniel enjoyed life very much, and lived it on his own terms. We will miss his stories, his kindness to others, thoughtfulness, deep insight and humor. He will always be loved and missed by all.

Daniel is preceded in death by Jesse Berry (Father), Louse Berry (Sister) Terry Powers (Uncle) He is survived by June Berry (Mother), Marylin Lynn (Sister) Kevin Lynn (Brother in Law), Rebecca Berry (Sister), Nick Chapman (Brother in Law), Jess Berry (Brother), Edmund Berry (Son), Michelle Berry (Daughter in Law), Amber, Jade and Sapphire (Granddaughters), Toby Berry (Son), Zoe Berry (Daughter in Law) and Jayne Berry (Wife).
