Francis Thomas Vachon passed away Sundday, January 10, 2016. Fran was born in Manchester, New Hampshire on July 2,1948, son of the late Marcel and Rose (Lamirande) Vachon. Fran later journeyed to Florida with his wife Janet, son Tee Jay and daughter Amy, living in Edgewater for years to come. He worked for Winn Dixie for over 25 years as a butcher and department manager. Fran had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and riding with friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time in the mountains. Most of all Fran loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet whom he loved very much, and is survived by his remaining family and many great friends. A Celebration of Fran’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Lost Lagoon Wings & Grill in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, 2004 North Dixie Freeway, New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32168.
