A graduate from the College of NJ, he began a career in Elementary Education, later switching to Special Education and retired from the Pemberton Township School District in NJ. Frank was an avid Golfer and a professional Trombone Player forming his own group called "Music by Frank Benedict and his Orchestra," he performed at The New Hope Playhouse Inn (New, Hope, PA), The Princeton Inn's Yankee Doodle University Room (Princeton, NJ), and the Atlantic City, NJ Atlantic Steel Pier.
