Glendavon Octavia Baugh, age 90, of Windermere, Florida passed away peacefully on September 30, 2022. She was one of six children born to Purcell Ward Baugh and Freda Hortense Dotson on October 27, 1931 in Omaha, Nebraska. After graduation from high school, Glen was enrolled in St. Andrews Hospital School of Nursing in Bottineau, North Dakota, where she received a nursing degree in 1952. She then married Victor Hugo Wilburn, II, also from Omaha, Nebraska, in November of 1952. Five children were born to the couple: Kimberley, Diane, Audrey, Leslie and Victor, III. While living in Philadelphia in the 1960's, Glen worked as a private duty nurse for the hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She later worked for the renowned Wills Eye Hospital. During the 1980's, Glen founded Stat Health Care Services. This was an agency that provided nursing staff for local nursing homes. After remarriage, Glen relocated to Orlando, Florida, where she was a member of New Church of Faith, pastored by retired preacher, David Beacham. As a registered nurse, she worked at several medical facilities, including two correctional facilities. One was Lake County Correctional. Glen was the las surviving member of the Baugh siblings. She will be deeply missed by her remaining family, and many friends and colleagues.
