Gordon Edgar Hann (90) of Windermere, Florida passed away at home surrounded by family on Oct. 18, 2013. He was born on Nov. 5, 1922 in Toronto, Canada to the late Sidney and Cora Hann. Mr. Hann was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, retired from the Veteran’s Administration, served in the Army during WWII, and active duty in the Air Force Reserves during the Korean War. Mr. Hann was recently pre-deceased by his beloved wife Shirley Elaine Hann of 65 years. They have been blessed with 7 wonderful children, Janice (Hann) Lambert, Wendy (Hann) Birdsong, Randy Hann (deceased), Gordon Hann (deceased), Ricky Hann, Scott Hann, Cory Hann, 25 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren. The family has planned for a private service in Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
