Henry G. "Harry" Bell, age 94 of Orlando, Florida passed away on December 9, 2011. He was born on February 10, 1917 in St. Mary Parish, Jamaica West Indies to the union of Samuel and Amanda (Bryant) Bell. Harry was a nurseryman for 28 years and loved to grow various plants. He had that green thumb that made plants seem to blossom under his care. His other passion was his family and he enjoyed special times together and lived life to the fullest. Harry is survived by his beloved wife Margaret; his daughter, Pauline Porter and her husband Robert; his grandchildren: Nicholas Porter and Benjamin Porter and also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family. Harry was preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys Bell and by his daughter, Yvonne Bell Chambers.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 3 - 7 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Gotha, FL. Funeral Service will be Monday, December 19, 2011 at 11 AM at Grace Bible Church with Pastor Gene Pritchard officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, FL.
