Dear Pam - I went by the house yesterday to drop off a poinsettia plant and was deeply saddened to hear that your mother had passed. She was like a second mother to us Lashley kids growing up. I remember her volunteering at Princeton when the school had a mock bomb drill where parents drove the kids out of town, and she was our driver, taking us to safety in the event Cuba bombed us. She made us feel safe ane secure, always.  She was the best friend my mother (Edith) ever had, always checking on her, bringing her neighborhood news and little treats. She was so proud of you and kept us updated on your adventures. I pray that you will find comfort in knowing how much she loved you and is now in God's loving care.

Pam I know what your going through right now since my Sharon passed a way 2 years ago.But as Sharon(sister) said she's walking on streets of gold and she's got on her white robe without any pain.I was very blessed to have her and Elizabeth for baby sitters growing up.I'm so happy Cathy and I got to see her when we did.You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers,Clem  Brown
