

James (Jim) Michael Heath, 67, of Orlando, Fl. passed away on August 30, 2010. Mr. Heath was born on September 23, 1942 in Alton, Illinois. Mr. Heath retired from the U.S.M.C. as a MSGT/E8. Mr. Heath also retired from Orange County Public Schools where he worked with warehouse personnel. Jim enjoyed gardening, salt- water fishing, and bowling. He was a member of Eagles Club and belonged to Eagles Friday Night Bowling League. Jim was a life long Cardinal fan and he played High School baseball as well as for the U.S.M.C. He was an avid Orlando Magic fan. Jim enjoyed reading western novels, his favorite Louis L'Amour. Jim is survived by his wife Joyce P. Heath, son Chris (Susan) Heath of Tampa, Fl. his daughter Shanna Curtis of Atlanta, Ga. son Scott Heath of Orlando, his brother George (Judy) Heath of Los Alamos, New Mexico. He is also survived by his step-daughters Marla (Tance) Singletary of Flagler Beach, FL. and Melanie Stroman of Orlando, Fl. grandchildren Alissa, Jason, Lindsey, Trisha, Josh, Jayce, Olivia and great-grandchild Colin, who shares his Poppa Jim's birthday.
