My prayers go out to Chris and Shanna and their families. Your father was very proud of you and spoke of you often. I am just so thankful Poppa Jim came into my mother's life. He put her on a pedestal and I know he loved and adored her. He will be missed by our family. We all know he's in good company, probably playing cards with Grandpa Pike!  Love to you all, Tance, Marla, Jayce and Olivia.

Our Friday nights won't be the same without Jim popping in to offer advice and wisecracks. We will surely miss him. He fought the valiant fight.

jim you will be deeply missed .. bowling will not be the same you always had some fish story or some joke going around.. our team will miss you our thoughts and prayers go out to joyce and family.. jim and fran also the team 4 who gives a dam....

We will miss Jim, but he no longer is in pain and with our Heavenly Father.  I will have long and lasting memories as we grew up.  We both enjoyed bowling, sports, fishing and the Cardinals.  He was a wonderful brother and competitor.

Judy and I both know how much he loved Joyce and her children and grandkids.

Chris, you and the entire Heath family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Reading what you wrote about your Dad brought tears to my eyes, I'm sure your Dad is very proud of you and is looking down on you and smiling.

I wanted to thank everyone for all of the support for my dad and his family through his battle with cancer.  I know through his life he made everyone of us laugh and on any other day might of been a lil crabby toward us. He will always be thought of if someone tells a joke that starts like" you know your a redneck if,,," and I'm sure we all have our own moments that we shared with him that will give us a laugh.  My dad was always a man that did things all the way,,never partial or maybe ,,,,if he was bowling he had his special glove,,shoes,,ball maybe a back up ball depending on how the lanes were breaking that night and if he didn't have the perfect game he probly would tell you he hurt himself earlier working in the garden to keep his ego high,,because Jim Heath doesn't have a bad game ,,,hahaha  
One thing I think I would like to say on his behalf was how much he loved his wife not just because they got along and had a life together ,,but he loved her  because she helped him become a better man, she has always been there when he needed to be told to be a lil more sensitive,,or don't worry that someone parked 2.5 inches to close to the grass,,she really helped him put life in perspective when he needed it. Most of all she loved the man beneath the Marine he was,,she knew that he was a big softy just as sensitive as all of us.  I have always been proud to be my father's son and I always will, he tought me so much by example, sometimes attached to a long lecture but I know he loved me the way he wanted to love me,,, not always the way I wanted to be loved.  Now that I am a parent myself I truly understand that more than ever.
