Dad,

It's hard to believe that it's almost been three months since you passed.  I think of you every day, and I often have the instinct to text or call.  

Not being able to reach you, or to even text or talk with you is difficult to say the least.  I miss you immeasurably and I can only hope that you are at peace.  

Thank you for everything you taught me.  For being friendly, kind, outgoing and determined.   Thank you for teaching me to be a fighter.

The greatest gift you ever passed down to me was the ability to make others feel secure and welcome in your presence. You never knew a stranger, and I've learned to love all. You proved that strength comes in all sizes. You are severely missed. I love you and miss you already.

It is so hard to say good-bye to someone as wonderful as James was. My heart goes out to all his family,I hope knowing that he is not suffering anymore helps. I loved this man more than life  he was my best friend and confidant. I will never forget you Handsome
