She was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 26, 1926 to the late Frank & Fay (Drinkard) Carlino.
Jeanette’s whole life was her family. She raised eight of her own children; and then shared countless days with lots of her beloved grandchildren while their parents worked. She picked up crocheting, and made homemade blankets for everyone; and with her spunky personality, Jeanette showed all of them all the love in all the world. She spent her nights dancing and singing karaoke in her daughter’s restaurant & bar. She had a designated table that the whole community reserved for her. Everyone knew she was always the Boss!
She was preceded in death by her dear husband, Augustine “Sonny” Walsh.
Jeanette is survived by her children, Joyce Blasko, Frank Johnson, Deborah Moses, Denise Darnley, Mary Dean, Jeanette McLeod, Kathleen Lokey, Patricia Pernal; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Jeanette’s Life will be held on Friday, February 25th at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida. Visitation from 2-3pm, Celebration at 3pm with Committal to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation in Jeanette’s name to the National Kidney Foundation.
