

John Robert Hadley, 67, died on Friday, September 17, 2010 of an unexpected heart attack. Born August 26, 1943 in Bellaire, Ohio, to Alfred and Rhoda, he attended Edgewater High School and graduated from Orlando College. John served in the United States Air Force until 1981, attaining the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. On June 7, 1962, he married Lois Cullen. He lived in many places and touched many lives across the United States and the world, and worked at HD Supply, wearing many hats in his 28+ years there. John was a member and Deacon of Delaney Baptist Church until transferred to First Baptist Church of Central Florida. John will be especially remembered for his love of University of Central Florida, a booster for over 20 years. John was an avid UCF sports fan, holding season tickets for football and basketball. He was also a member of the Golden Knights Club. Survivors include his beloved wife of 48 years, Lois, his 3 sons, Troy, Robert and Vance. He has 2 grandsons and 3 granddaughters. Visitation will be held from 5–8 pm, Fri., Sept. 24, 2010 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd., Gotha, FL 34734. Services will be 2 pm, Sat., Sept. 25 at the funeral home followed by burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The Family encourage UCF colors be worn to both occasions!
