I realize that when I scroll social media and don't see her it hurts my heart as I fill in the things I envision she would have done .

I even have a student this year who looks like her which has made this year profoundly harder in that on some days I feel blessed that I "see" her on campus, but some days I am even more sorrowful that even now her ghost still lingers.

I miss her deeply, but know I will never allow her to be forgotten.

I wish I got to know her more, but she remains a classmate to me. I few times I did talk to her, I could tell she was kind. Quiet, but kind. The day we found out she was gone, our classroom suddenly felt emptier to me. For weeks I'd end up staring at her empty seat, wishing I knew her more. Hoping that if I had, maybe things would have been different. But I'm sorry for what happened to her, and I really hope she's at peace. Wherever she is now.

Julia, most intriguing Julia.......so much going on behind those eyes.  Reading all the memories left on this board has helped me see exactly what I missed out on.  One thing I could sense in her was a sweetness and introspective nature.  Beyond that, I wanted her to know that we "see" her, and wanted to know her if she would let us.  All the children on the block had only good things to say about her in the few times they got to interact. That says a lot about her character!  Praying for the Blessing of love, joy and strength of God to overflow the home of Grace, Peter, and Charlotte.  We will miss you Julia...

Julia was quiet, but always had mischievous eyes, like she knew a joke you didn't.   Her sense of humor was really sharp, so it's no surprise that we really really enjoyed her company.  Something about preteens is the best.  Right before we left the neighborhood, we got to celebrate Halloween together, which included carving pumpkins.  Mark and Julia won with the grossest pumpkin that had pumpkin guts coming out of both ends.   Julia and her parents and Mark loved it, especially since I was grossed out:).  It was such a fun evening with both of our families.  I also loved eating Chicago deep dish pizza together, and just having both Julia and her mom give me a break by coming over and holding my newborns.  Julia was so great with babies.  It feel really hard to write these memories in past tense, because Julia was, and still is such a beautiful person. Until we meet again sweet girl.  Sending you both, Grace and Peter, all of our hearts and love!   We love you guys, and pray Heavenly Father will fill you up with strength and love continually.

Julia Rose Clements was one of the most sweetest people on Earth, Julia was a very nature loving person. We miss you Julia, very much.

I remember visiting my parents over the weekend coming back from college and meeting Julia for the first time, as she was hanging out with my younger brother. That day we went out to eat, and I took her and my brother in my car. I paid for their meal and she was polite to thank me and subsequently I was the designated driver every time I came back in town. She was shy at first but I've learned overtime that she's smart, polite, and unique. I hope she will be at peace and I wish her family love and support during this tough time.

I remember one time going over to Connie's  pool and little Julia , she probably was 9 or 10 was in the pool.  So  Julia and I had been playing very nice  for about half hour when all of a sudden she turned on me and started splashing and dunking me.  I was so surprised and taken back at first because here was sweet Julia coming after me and laughing and had the biggest grin. It was like she had won a battle.  I could do nothing but laugh and play along. Julia was always competitive in the water from that point on with me and I always enjoyed it. Whether it was at Chain of Lakes or in Sycamore Lake last year. I will miss that sweet beautiful smile that could light up the room.  I will miss you Julia. My prayers and thoughts are with Grace,  Peter,Charlotte and the family always. 

I pray that your family finds comfort at this time of sorrow. May the knowledge that you will be reunited beyond the veil help you during this difficult time. 

I remember sweet Julia coming to trick or treat with Lexi, Gwen and Caroline.  I will be in continuous prayer for your family.  I am very sorry for the loss of your precious  little one. 

I remember fondly meeting Julia for the first time & the unexpected long list of things we had in common despite the decades age difference. She was a great kid - beautiful inside & out. I am deeply sorry for the loss of this vibrant and spunky life. ((Hugs))

Such a sweet kid. She was so kind to my niece and nephew. I will always remember them, spinning and laughing, together, on a sunny day.
