She was born in Bronx, New York on December 6, 1938 to Ray Swanson Sr. and Amy Johanson Swanson. Mrs. Briere was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Mrs. Briere was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 19 for many years. Mrs. Briere was a Home Health Aide for years. Mrs. Briere loved to sing, dance, and spend time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Sr. and Amy Swanson, and brother Roy Swanson Jr. Mrs. Breire is survived by husband Ray Briere, son Larry Hauesler (Denise) Clearwater Fl. Daughter Lori Hoye Huntsville, AL., 3 granddaughters, and 4 great-grandsons.
