Katy was born on May 3, 1958, to William and Genevieve Huelsman. She was preceded in death by her father, William, and her sisters Karen and Sarah, and is survived by her loving mother, Genevieve, as well as her siblings Linda and Kevin.
Katy was a devoted mother to her son William and his wife Luz, and her daughter Lauren and her husband Peter. Her greatest joy was being “Nana” to her beloved grandchildren Elliot, Lucas, Maisie, and Arthur.
She was known for her kind heart, strong work ethic, and the quiet, selfless way she cared for those around her. Katy loved playing tennis, working in her yard, and took great pride in her home, but above all she loved her family deeply.
Her love lives on in the family she cherished so deeply, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A service to celebrate Katy’s life will be held at Ocoee Oaks Methodist Church, 201 S Clarke Road, Ocoee FL 34761 on Saturday March 21st 2026 at 10am.
