Lily Thompson Finley

Lily Thompson Finley, age 95, of Zellwood, Florida passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023. She was born in Micco, Florida on September 21, 1927. She married Jack A. Finley, the love of her life on April 12, 1954 and was married for over 55 years before his passing.

Lily was a member of the Orange County Cruisers in the late 1970's-1980's and had a passion for crafts, sewing, quilting, needlepoint and cooking.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Finley Ransom, Barbara Ann Phelps, Martha Elaine Phelps, Nita Graham and Gary Keith Finley, 17 grandchildren and over 20 great grandchildren.

Lily was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, son, Rodney "Rocky" Phelps and was the last surviving sibling of 10 children.

A visitation for Lily will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 25, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A committal service will occur Friday, August 25, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
