Lisette Preval

Lisette Preval was born on October 22, 1943 to Lucie Doret and Andre Compas in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Lisette married Louis Preval on December 27, 1973. They have been married 48 years. Lisette was a devoted and dedicated Christian. She came to the United States in 1983 to establish her citizenship so she could move her family from Haiti. She strived to create a better life for her children. Lisette loved taking care of others and always made sure they had plenty to eat. Lisette Preval went home and earned her wings on May 4, 2022 in Orlando, FL. She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband, Louis Preval. Her two sons: Serge Preval (Chalynda), of Lutz, FL, and Yves Richard Preval (Marie), of Orlando, FL. Sisters: Sarah Compas Zephir, of Queens, NY, Francoise Doret, Christiane Doret, and Christine Doret of Boston, MA. Brothers: Renold Compas who preceded her in death, of Orlando, FL, Bruny Compas (Paul-Marie), of Orlando, FL, Jean Compas of Queens, NY, Edner Compas, of Miami, FL, Gerard Compas, of Miami, FL, Andre Compas II, and Frantz Wackman. A number of Brothers and Sisters preceded her in death. Three grandchildren: Ashlynn Adryanna Preval, D’Andre Lee Preval, and Aaron Louis Preval. Nieces/Nephews: Micheline Compas Cassagnol of Orlando, FL, Judith Diéudonné (Gasner) of Orlando, FL, Rénel Compas (Beatrice) of Orlando, FL, Jeffrey Compas (Rachel) of Tampa, FL, Barbara “Chloe” Compas of Orlando, FL, Roxanne Bastien of Orlando, FL and a host of many other family and friends.

A visitation for Lisette will be held Friday, May 20, 2022 from 5:00-8pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A Haitian Choir Service & Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 9:00am at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 801 N. Hastings Street, Orlando, FL 32808. A committal service will follow on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:30am at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
