It is hard to believe that it has been over a year since Lois left us here on earth.  I miss her daily, and can only imagine how much she is missed by Bob and her family.  Love you lady .........

Before the guest book is closed, I just want to say again 'thank you friend'.  I still have not found anyone who likes to do the things the two of us did.  I think of you each and every day and I sure miss you.  Take good care of all the dogs up there, as I know you are!  We will be together again with family and friends.

I had the honor of meeting Lois in October 2012, after many years of chatting via email, when my husband & I were visiting FL on vacation.  Despite her frail health even then, she and Bob met us at a Denny's near our condo and we had a lovely lunch - finally got to put a face with a name/email address, and personally thank her for all the donations they had made to the Sunshine Fund auctions over the years.  Lois has always been a big supporter of our cause to help Keeshond Rescues - and nothing fueled her passion more than needing to help Keesies in need.  I know that she is now at peace, and enjoying the attention of all the little Keesies that went before her at the Rainbow Bridge.  Lois, you are truly missed, yet have gone on to your blessed reward.

Lois was a loving, caring person who always came to the defense of those in need. She adored her animals incl. her dear Keesies and her Lucky.  Her wonderful wit and enjoyment of life was inspiring to those fortunate enough to know her.
She will be missed, but not in our thoughts and hearts. She will always be there. My daughter, Kathy will miss her too as Lois touched so many hearts over the years.  My deepest sympathies go out to Bob and all those who loved her also.

Uncle Bob, thanks so much to you and Aunt Lois for all memories I had as a kid playing in your backyard at Summerlin before we bought the house. Your Keeshond posse was so much fun, I remember I would run and have them all chasing after me then I would jump up to a branch on the camphor tree just before they caught me. GREAT TIMES, GREAT MEMORIES!

Lois was an exceptional woman, with a loving and generous soul. I felt honored to call her friend,  although we never met.  We were brought together by our love for keeshonds.  When I received news of her passing, I wept. She is now in the comfort of God's embrace, making sure that all our fuzzers who have crossed The Rainbow Bridge are all accounted for.
I will miss her, but The Slippered One will remain in my heart.

When I discovered Lois had been in Pittsburgh, Pa. in her younger years the conversation immediately went to ethnic foods and our mutual love of Potato Pirogies, Goumpkies (SP) and kielbasa. We did get back on Kessies but our mouths hungered for those great foods we enjoyed way back when. Lois reminded me more than once that where you came from was a part of the journey to cherish. She rests from her labors in the home of the Great Creator surrounded by a bunch of Kees begging polish sausage treats.

Loved her humor and frankness.  Will miss her e-mail and especially the good advice.  We had a lot in common with this lady.    The Keeshonden in heaven are greeting her with kisses of friendship.

It has been difficult to accept that Lois' furry slippers sprouted wings overnight and flew her away to another chapter.  She was a true friend and always so willing to lend her helpful advice and friendship.  She is now at peace, and we can only picture her greeting a whole herd of Keeshonden -- can you hear her saying to one "oh your 2-L just spoke of you last week -- they are fine but miss you so much".   Bob, and the rest of her family, I know you will truly miss her and I hope that soon your mind will be filled with many happy memories.  Love to you all --

Thank you Lois for being such a wonderful friend.  When we moved to Zellwood Station, Lois and Bob were the first to greet us and show us around the community. She and I became very close friends.  I will miss our visits, our emails, our telephone calls, our shopping together and our lunch dates.  Even when she had to have oxygen 24/7 and I suggested we go out for lunch, she thought it would be too much trouble with the tanks.  I always told her she was being silly.  This was not going to stop our lunch dates. There is an empty spot in my heart and I will miss you so much.  Bob, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I will sadly miss the wise, kind, and humorous words Lois shared on the K-list. I learned many things about Keeshonden and life from her. Lois, may you kick off those slippers and play with all the furbabies on the other side.

Lois enjoyed sharing her experiences of dog shows past.  She had lots of stories to share with a new comer.  She watched me from the time I started showing until well after I specialed my first boy many years ago.  She always had great stories, helpful advice, and kind words.  She will be missed.

Lois was a classy lady who I had the good fortune to meet. She was instrumental in my being able to get my Morgan and for that alone I will be forever grateful. She was a wealth of knowledge, freely shared.  She will be very missed.

Lois you will be sadly missed by so many with your wit and clear insight.  There were times you played devil's advocate with such grace and humor.  I and others will miss the humorous emails that were so much a part of your spirit keeping others laughing.  The Keesie world has lost a true and honest friend.  Romping up there with all the furbabies who greeted you, must have been a heckva hullabaloo.  RIP friend I never got to meet but feel honored to know you in the facets of life here.   For you family:  "May all the sunshines of yesterday help to warm and illuminate the corners of your hearts in the tomorrows.

A couple of times a month we would get emails from Lois, with the latest "gossip" , sometimes the "latest" was many many years previous!  She was a wealth of knowledge and loved to pass that along, one only had to ask! She was very supportive of our KeeshondWorld Magazine and Pedigree Database, and most issues we would send a special version to her, so that she was able to read it. Put your slippers on Lois and rest peacefully and without pain xx

Just two weeks before her passing, Lois and I sat at her dining room table talking about the fur children we have loved.  The light in her eyes when talking about them was a bright as the sun.  It was on that day that she gave me a special gift- the last of the fuzzies in her care.  
Slipper Lady- you are missed, but we know you are looking after our fuzzies who are waiting for us at the Bridge.

I shall miss Lois's wit & humor that I enjoyed as a member of the Keeshond chat group that we were both a part of. She will be remembered as a friend to many, both human & animal.

Lois had so much passion for Keeshonden.  Always there when needed and always caring for the breed she loved so much.  She will be greatly missed.

Lois and I had many wonderful conversations through e-mail messages for many years. I so enjoyed her posts and she loved to receive the videos I sent to her. She was a great ambassador of the Keeshond breed. I'm sure there are many furry creatures jumping for joy to have her with them at the Rainbow Bridge.

I only knew Lois through the various dog lists.  I always enjoyed her insight and the concern she showed for all animals, especially the dogs.  Now Lois is out of pain and looking down over us, making sure the take care of the furry creatures at the bridge.

Lois was my oldest cousin.  We always lived in different cities and didn't have a lot of contact growing up, but e-mail helped us keep in contact in recent years.  She was a loving lady, and shared some remarkable images and thoughts.  Our prayers are with Bob and all of her extended family.

The kindness and humor Lois shared with the Keeshond list will be missed. She was always a voice of caring and compassion, especially for the breed she so loved. And the beautiful inspirational messages she shared from time to time are something I will always treasure and have shared with many friends.

Lois and I were long distance cyberspace friends, her life stories always made me chuckle, her fierce love for the Keeshonden is how we met and remained friends for many years. She was a fiesty, sassy woman with the biggest heart of gold. I hope your "Fuzzy slippers" are taking you for long peace-filled walks with all our beloved Keesie babies by your side. I knew Lois through the keeshond list.  Her compassion and passion were evident, always, and I am sure she is surrounded by loved ones, four and two footed,now.

Lois has been a loving part of the Keeshond community for many years. Her love and devotion to our breed, to rescues and to shelter dogs of all breeding was exemplary. She was a loving Keeshond mom to the very end. She will be missed.

May God bless Bob and all family and friends with comfort, as only He is able.
