

Louise was born on January 8, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Archetta Winfrey and Benjamin Davis, Sr. She was the oldest of six children, including Benjamin Jr., Dorothy, Thomas, Jeannette and William, all who preceded her in death.
Louise attended Chicago Public Schools and graduated from Englewood High School. She continued her education by taking classes in Chicago Community Colleges and Roosevelt University.
Louise worked for Federal National Mortgages (FNMA) for over 45 years as a loan representative and was required to travel to different states. She loved her job and was very conscientious and professional in all she did.
Louise married John Bennett Searcy in 1947 and from their union two daughters and a son were born. Louise and Johnny divorced after six years of marriage. Louise later married Jesse J. Isabel. From this second union a son was born. Jesse preceded Louise in death in 1999.
Louise was a devoted and loving mother to her family and spent quality time with her children. She loved music and dancing and sewing: making most of her clothes and clothes for her children. She loved holidays and birthdays and family gatherings.
After retirement, Louise got a passion for cruising. Louise and Dolores White, one of her dearest friends, were cruising companions for at least ten years. They sailed on the Smooth Jazz Cruise and other ships many times.
Louise lost her eldest child, Lydia Louise Barnes in 1998 and her youngest son, Andre Michael Isabel in 2005.
Louise spent her last seven years living in Florida with some family and friends enjoying life. After, a stroke in 2017, she spent her time in an assisted living (nursing). Louise departed this world peacefully on July 15, 2021 to join family and friends gone before her.
Louise is survived by one daughter, Patricia Gene Nichols (David) and one son, Mario Bennett Isabel (Jessica); eight grandchildren: Bennetta (Herod), Benjamin (Christine), Stacey (Monicka), Denyce (Dameon), Tiffani, Maria, Ashley and Alexander; and seven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; many nieces, nephew, in-laws, and many dear friends.
Throughout Louise’s long life, her presence was felt by all those that knew and loved her. Louise was a loyal and kindhearted soul that left a positive and lasting legacy with those that encountered her.
