
To My Dearest Neighbours of All Times,  
My deepest condolences to you All. Sad to hear of ‘Neighbour’s passing. As you know your Mom was like an advisor to me, on every topic we discussed, the older Wiser & more experienced Mother & woman, my almost daily chatting partner and good friend. If not from your back door and my patio, it was at the fence or in your yard. Cherished & Wonderful memories, so many of them that continued between the USA & Canada when we both moved. A very caring and ‘down to earth woman’. I loved your Mom and know that you did as well. Christopher, don’t worry, Grandma is where she always talked about going.

I can't say I have a memory of dearest Aunty, but would like to express my heartfelt sympathies to her loved ones, especially Clement and Ralph.

Mrs Seegobin, my nieghbor, my friend my family....you were truly a phenomenal woman. Mother, wife, grandmother, friend and so much more. As a young girl growing up I marveled at your culinary and landscaping skills in Delhi st, PN. I treasure those years and look back fondly at all the memories ...they surely don't make neighbors like that anymore. 
Rest in eternal peace,  your life was surely well lived 🙏 ❤️

Our heartfelt sympathy and sincere condolences to Ralph and the entire Seegobin family on your profound loss.

May those fond and  cherished memories of her be with you all forever. 

My grandmother was special in her own way, infinitely hard working, supremely strict and quietly loving. She would rarely smile or laugh, resulting in us making  jokes , “Grandma is a real terror.” 

There is no question that she was that, but she was so much more. She was caring, stern, god fearing and protective. 

There are some events I will never forget,  while living with her having moved from Guyana to go attend VCC I got a speeding ticket (Vance), my mother would have slung me up and but she insisted that my mother was over reacting, that she would pay the ticket and make me go to driving school. I can still hear her in my head saying, “Ena leff duh bai, me go pay am and he gonna do wuh he gat to, Right Ravee?” A terror yes, a protector too.

There were countless nights where you waited up for me when I stayed with you at 330 after moving. You’d say, “I cyan sleep properly if ya gone out late. Ravee ya gah stop walk late.”

There were the laughs and giggles  the grandchildren especially shared when you would always go into the fridge with that Gilligan’s island hat. You’d say , “meen wan get a cold.”

She never learnt to drive, and as such a few of us, her husband, the children  and Grandchildren had the then unenviable task of picking her up from work every day, she worked at Disney as a seamstress. When I was still very young I used to tell friends, “my grandmother does sew Mickey Mouse Clothes.” As you get older though you realize those moments and opportunities offered hundreds of hours to bond, and just be together. I will take those moments, and the many others with me for the rest of my life.

I'll always miss you and love you. Being your grandchild has been a great privilege. I hope you go where you've always prayed you would.

Our loved ones never leave us  they only go before us.



Mamee has always been a favourite of ours.  We will remember her as a strong, independent, kind, and extremely helpful person.
I (Jai) have known her since I was a little boy.  I got to know her well when the family moved to Kitty in the 1960s.  Mamee  has always treated me , and later Seta and our children, as cherished members of her own family.

When I was living on my own in Kitty in the late 1960s she would always send Clem or Reggie to spend time with me if she felt I was not too well or needed company.  I will always be thankful for this kindness and thoughtfulness.

During this time, I would often seek  her advice and counsel because I knew she would be frank and provide good advice.

When I got my family, she and Mamoo were even more helpful.  Their home was a second home to us.  Mamee got all the girls (Janet, Ena, Grace and Sharon) and all the boys (Clem, Reggie and Ralph) to help babysit our children when necessary.  Her home was a place where  we shared very many jokes and laughed a lot.  We are thankful that we have continued to do this whenever we meet.

We will miss you Mamee.  Rest in peace.

Auntie Jas stayed true to her faith in the Lord.
Her soul is with Jesus as her work on earth is done. 
My memory of auntie Jas was,  a woman who made many sacrifices for her family.
