Maisie McGill Hamilton, 76, of Orlando, Florida passed away on October 31, 2014 in Winter Park, Florida. She was born on November 6, 1937 in Clarendon, Jamaica, West Indies to the late Quinten and Agatha (Henry) McGill. She was a nurse’s aide. Maisie was a member of First Baptist Church Orlando. She enjoyed shopping and sewing. Maisie is preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Hamilton. Survivors include her sons, Jerome (Doreen) Bassier; Collin (Gem) Bassier, Clement (Arcenta) Bassier, Michael (Icynthia) Bassier; daughter, Claudeth (Oswald) Malcolm; brothers, Larry and Dennis McGill; sisters, Beverly McGill, Sonia Delburt, Sadie Mc Gill, Joyce McGill; 25 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Family will be receiving friends from 2-3pm, Thursday, November 6 “Maisie’s Birthday” at Woodlawn Funeral Home with a service to follow at 3 pm.
