Mrs. Margaret Ann Fernandez

Mrs. Margaret Ann "Peggy" Fernandez, 91, of Orlando, Florida, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 at her home. Born on September 6, 1918 in Portsmouth, Ohio, she was the daughter of John S. and Magdalena Seymour Alkire. Mrs. Fernandez was a retired Administrative Assistant in the real estate business. She was a communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church, Orlando. Mrs. Fernandez is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, John Albert Fernandez, whom she married in 1942 in Denver, CO. Additional survivors include two sons: John A. (Sandra) Fernandez, Jr., and Robert S. (Melissa) Fernandez, two daughters: Barbara Ann (John) Bloss and Peggyann (Allan) Connolly, twelve grandchildren: David (Kim) Bloss, Jeff (Char) Bloss, Cheryl (Tim) McNamarra, Linda (James) Udlinek, John (Amy) Fernandez, III, Brandon (Belinda) Fernandez, Marty Fernandez, Stephanie (Nick) Patronis, Kelli Fernandez, Kevin Fernandez, Marcus Connolly and Macy Connolly, and ten great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Orlando. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, FL. Visitation will be held Friday, August 27, 2010 from 6:00 to 8;00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
