Michael Roland Nofsinger

Michael R. Nofsinger, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 7, 2013. Mike was born in Luke, Maryland and graduated from Bruce High School. He served in the US Air Force and, in 1957, married his high school sweetheart, Midge. He graduated with his Masters Degree from the University of Maryland where he also played basketball. Mike and his family were longtime residents of Tampa and then Orlando where he was President of Moran Printing Company until he retired in 1999. He had a passion for golf and enjoyed spending time in the mountains of North Carolina. Mike is survived by Midge, his beloved wife of 56 years, and three daughters, Linda (Hal), Kris (Ron) and Lorie (Mike). He is also survived by five precious grandchildren, two brothers and five sisters as well as many other treasured family members. Mike was as witty in conversation as he was visionary in business. Above all, he was a loving husband, the best father and cherished friend. He will be dearly missed. A visitation will be held on Monday February 11, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday February 12, 2013 at 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
