Myra Du Rant Seaton

Myra “Jean” (Du Rant) Seaton, 96, born August 25, 1926, in Orlando, Florida to Joseph Walter and Emma Lou Du Rant. She is predeceased by her husband Archie Seaton, one granddaughter and nine siblings.

She is survived by three children, Linda Short (Bob/deceased) Lynn La Mastus and Steve Seaton (Angie), four grandchildren: Brent Short (Angie), Nicole Seaton King (Wayne), Sara Moore (Jason) and Tyler Seaton, four great-grandchildren: Travis Short, Makenna King, Kahlyn Moore, Kade Seaton, and Faith Seaton.

She attended Orlando High School. She retired from Southern Bell. She was blessed and a blessing, she loved and was loved, she knew where she would spend eternity and she is there.

A visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday August 19, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church 123 E. Livingston St. Orlando, Florida 32801 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am. A reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall following the service. The entombment will be private for family only at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Trinity Lutheran Memorial Fund in her name.
