With Norman, I learned that life is easier when you smile, that laughter certainly can make your day brighter, that change will always happen and if you are open to it, you can learn something wonderful every day. I treasured what I have learned from you. You were a great teacher for my son as well as myself. Thank you for everything. You will be greatly missed.

Norm, (DAD) for years I didnt even know your name.  I called you dad.  When  I go to the buffet, I will think of you and leave a seat open.  Your smile will be missed and by the way, the joke about the coffe pot will stay between you and I.  Be at peace

Dear Pam, Melody and Dan and CoCo, I am so sorry to hear about your dear Father. He had the best sense of humor and was so kind and sensitive and I am glad I got to meet him. I think he will always be around you even if he has past on from this world. God bless to you all.

Dad, how do I even begin? It's impossible to put into words what you meant to me. You have always been a rock and my strength when I was weak, my sounding board when I doubted myself or had a new idea, you would push  me to follow through and have faith in myself. You would have a joke when I was sad or upset,(sure could use one now!) you were my best friend and so much more. I have been blessed to have you as a father. I couldn't have loved you more!!! Heaven must be an even happier place now that you're there too.

To the Perreten  family,
My sincerest condolences on the loss of your father. It was a little over a year ago  I had the privilege of meeting Norm  with Kim, when we were in Orlando. He and Pam met us at Downtown  Disney.He was the "Uncle Norm" that  Kim had talked about with such love. I remember how much fun we had talking, and laughing. We would've loved to have spent more time with you two. Not  having the opportunity to meet the entire family, I'm glad I met you Pam. Please know you're all in our prayers!

Words are not enough to express how sorry I am for your loss. I'm sending you all my deepest condolences. Uncle Norm always had that dry sense of humor, that always made me smile, and he had a very contagious laugh... another smile. I can't imagine the pain all of you feel, but know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

How was I to know? When growing up with an older brother, I knew he was thoughtful, kind, encouraging and caring.  I knew he was a terrible tease, could find humor in the most obscure places and inappropriate times .... and I loved him for it.  We truly understood each other. Uncle Norm, I loved our time together last year when we were in Orlando. I wanted to build our high school trip around being able to visit with you again, and am so thankful I did. Pam, I'm glad we had an opportunity to visit with you, as well. It was great talking about the "old times" and what was going on in all our lives, currently. You will be missed dearly! We were so sorry to hear about your dad. We know What a fighter he was by the way he forced himself to exercise up and down the street. We also know how faithful you were to him and how you made his last several months as pleasant as possible. You definitely were his guardian angel.
