I loved Mrs. Henry while growing up at FBPH church. She was always smiling, gentle, warm & kind. My mother spoke highly of her also and of her input in WMU meetings. Blessings to Julie and David and families.

Nydia was a Godly lady with a kind and gentle spirit. She loved the Lord and her family with passion. Living next door to her, I got to know another side - a sense of humor that always included a twinkle in eyes and a giggle.  We shared many laughs, meals, talks and outings that will remain precious memories.

Thoughts & prayers to Julie, David and entire family. Plain and simple, to the point. WHAT A LEGACY!  Yes, Yes, grandchildren, follow the Christian Legacy Miss Nydia lived for you and others.

I have very fond memories of Miss Nydia. What a godly lady! She was the pianist for First Baptist Church of Pine Hills when I started taking lessons from her in 1968 at the age of 9 after my parents joined the church. 50 years later and I am now the pianist for Church At The Cross (formerly First Baptist Church of Pine Hills). So thankful for how God used her in my life.

Nydia and Pastor Henry were so special to my Mom and Dad.  What a dear woman she was to them and to me. She lived with courage.A wonderful reunion with her husband and with the Lord.

Nydia was a precious friend and always a source of encouragement. Debo and I will miss her friendship and words of wisdom that she always offered in honesty and humility. We will be praying for your family in the days ahead as you grieve in your loss.  Steve and Deborah McFarland
