With great sadness, we announce the passing of Octavio Toledo, age 90, on May 16, 2025. Octavio was born and raised in the town of Utuado, Puerto Rico in 1935. As a young man Octavio relocated and settled in Chicago Illinois, where he worked as a Pastry Chef until his retirement.
During that time he married his hometown, sweetheart, Milagros Cuevas in 1956 and together they raised a family of four and remained in Chicago until relocating to Florida in 1980 and residing in Ocoee ,Florida for the last 45 Years. Octavio lived a life dedicated to serving God and others and found joy in sharing his faith and love with all that he met.
Octavio was a loving husband, father and grandfather to his family. His patience, laughter and insightful perspective on things will be missed. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Milagros, his son’s Abraham and Moses, his daughters, Rose and Angie, along with his five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on May 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park and funeral home in Gotha Florida.
