Patrick Willlam Murray

husband, son, brother, family member and friend passed away at his home on Sunday,

October 2, 2022.

Patrick was born November 28, 1974, in Mount Holly, New Jersey, to William Murray

and Frances Powell.

He attended Port Charlotte High School in Port Charlotte, FL. He continued his

education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, graduating in 1999 with a bachelor’s

degree in Aircraft Engineering Technology.

Patrick had a dream of flying planes and working on space shuttles ever since he was a

little boy. His passion for aeronautics was contagious and shared with everyone he

touched. Patrick worked hard and achieved those dreams. Through his endeavors with

United Space Alliance, ASRC, and Jacobs he supported many Space Shuttle Missions

and the development of the SLS/Orion Spacecraft with the mission to return us to the

moon and beyond.

Those who knew Patrick, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Patrick will

be missed everyday by his wife, Diana Wettstein-Murray, his father, William Murray, his

mother, Frances Powell, his sister Kathryn, brother-in-law Steve, his loving nephews,

aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many great friends
