Pedro Diaz De Leon Jr (age 94) born 1-11-1921 passed in Orlando, FL on 7-19-15 of battle with Cancer. He is loved and deeply missed by his family. Pre-deceased by Father Pedro Diaz De Leon Sr. and Mother Gabriella Sanchez. De Leon Sr. recieved the key to the city of Kingsville, Texas. Pedro was born in Texas. He is also pre deceased by youngest brother Daniel De Leon, Callito De Leon and grandson Peder De Leon. Surviving brothers and sisters Rudy, Arturo, Barbara and Victor are CA and TX residents. He is survived by his wife Norma De Leon whom he married in Laurel Co. Ky while in the USM. Joining the USM in 1939 Army-Airforce , later remaining in Airforce for over 30 years. WW2 veteran he was deployed in the Pacific Theatre as a Pilot and Jet Engine Mechanics. Later in his Military Career he was stationed in D.C, TX, CA, NV, WY, HI and abroad, Philipines, Switzerland and England. He handled Strategic Missle Defenses and an became an Instructor. Pedro was also a member of the Catholic Church and involved himself with the Knights of Columbus. Pedro enjoyed gardening, Exercise at St. Luke's of windermere, reading , carpentry , collecting and cars. He is survived by FL family wife Norma De Leon, 3 children, Linda Mc Vey, Gloria Shorette and Daniel De Leon. 5 grandchildren , Philip, David, Angela, Derek and Jon. 5 great grand-children Glorilynn, Sofia, Celeste, Zachary and Andrew. Services for Pedro Diaz De Leon will be held for family and friends at and then proceed to his final resting place and honors at Woodlawn Cemetary.

I could not have been blessed with a greater man to be my grandfather. I will miss you dearly.
