Ramon Caban Jr., 56, of Deltona, Florida passed away on October 18, 2021. Ramon was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 11, 1965 to Mrs. Maria Teresa and Ramon Caban. Ramon graduated high school from Vocacional Dr. Pedro Perea Fajardo in Puerto Rico. He went on to the University of Columbia where he earned a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
Ramon met and married the love of his life, Alicia Caban on December 31, 1990. Ramon served in the United States Army, then entered the United States Air Force, and then retired from the Army Reserves after serving 30 years. He then joined the Orange County Department of Corrections and served 20 years as a Master Correctional Officer or MCO. In his spare time, he loved rooting for the Giants while enjoying a favorite craft beer. He was also known as quite the foodie and enjoyed spending all his time with his family and loving on his grandbabies.
Ramon is survived by his wife, Alicia Caban; his children, Jose Rivera, Tony Rivera, Jessica Rivera, Carlos Rivera, Jessenia Caban and Ramon Caban III; also, his 10 grandchildren; and siblings, Jose Caban, Fernando Caban and Teresita Caban.
