Robert was born in Los Angeles, CA on October 20, 1930. He joined the Air Force in 1949 and graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1952. He was an instructor pilot for F-86D, T-33 and T-37. After proudly serving his county for 20 years, he also retired fromTexas Instruments and Disney World.
He is survived by his wife, Dessie. They were married for 61 year and lived several interesting places around the world. They have two children Pamela LaBuda (Glenn) and Bobbie Hofler (Edmond), two grand children, Derek Newton (Ashley) and Andi Beam (Steve), three great-grand children, Quynn Newton, Piper Beam and Balen Beam.
He enjoyed fishing, tinkering with electronics and dining out. He could take anything apart and put it back together. He and Dessie went on many cruises to exciting countries around the world.
He will be missed forever and will always be loved.
