Sam was a retired Director of produce and Independent business owner. He was born in Weatherford, Texas in 1943 where he worked and enjoyed a successful career in purchasing and sales of produce. He moved his family to Florida as a career move. He enjoyed boating, fishing, plants and produce. Sam enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed good conversation and was considered best friend too many.
Sam is preceded by his wife of 42 years Judy Kay Carney and his son Kenneth Mark Carney whom he now joins in heaven. He is survived by a brother Jimmy Carney and a sister Illa v. Thompson, four Sons Dean Martin, Paul David, Samuel Haskell, and Christopher Lee Carney. Six grandchildren Kenny, Tyler, Chelsea, Taler, Cassidi, Cayla Carney. Three great grand Children Makenzie, Karleigh and Rylie Carney.
The family will lay him to rest Friday October 18, 2019 1 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery.
