Sean Joel Baenen

Sean Joel Baenen, 49, of Orlando Florida passed away on Tuesday October 3, 2017. Sean was born on February 9, 1968 in Harvey, Illinois to Arlo Baenen and Mary Jo Norman Baenen. Sean worked as an RN for 24 years, completing his career in the Emergency Department at Dr. Phillips Hospital. Sean's love of family, travel, and sports inspired him to live life to it's fullest. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sean was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jo Baenen and his sister, Dee Dee Wagner. He is survived by his father, Arlo Baenen, his loving wife, Kimberly. Sons, Jake, and Sean, daughters, Stephanie, and Sabrina. Brothers, Paul, Pete, Gary and Adam.

A Celebration of Sean’s Life will be held on Thursday October 19, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home. 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734. A Celebration Gathering will follow from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The American Cancer Society, St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, or the Charity of your choice.

The family requests if you’re able to please dress casually in Sean’s honor. Please feel free to wear your favorite sports team clothing or Hawaiian shirts, as these are the clothes Sean was most comfortable in.
