Sharon Cerise Kurzban née Campbell, age 60 of Tamarac, Florida passed away on October 11, 2019. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica on December 12, 1958. Sharon attended St. Hugh's High School in Jamaica and initially migrated to Toronto, Canada in 1977 where she completed her high school education at L'Amoreaux High School. Sharon then migrated to the United States in 1978. She married David Kurzban on April 23, 1990 and resided in Tamarac, Florida until the time of her death. Her greatest joy was welcoming their daughter, Brandi Kurzban, into the world on March 26, 1992.
Sharon had a career as an Education Administrator for the Blake School and was loved by her colleagues and students. She had a passion for reading, baking, decorating her home for Christmas, shopping for gifts, and spending time with her family, especially with Margaret, her sister, in California. Sharon was especially devoted to making Brandi’s life full and happy. She was a very loving, kind, and generous person who went out of her way to let each person in her life know how special they were to her. She will be greatly missed by all her loved ones.
Sharon was confirmed in the Anglican Church, confessed her faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ, and remained faithful until death.
Sharon was preceded in death by her Parents Dr. Winston Spenser Campbell and Mrs. Marion Constance Campbell, Grandparents Sir Clifford Clarence Campbell, ON, GCMG, GCVO - the first Governor General of Jamaica, Lady Alice Estephene Campbell, Mr. Oswald Leslie Mein, and Mrs. Lucille Rebecca Mein.
Sharon is survived by Husband - David Kurzban, Daughter - Brandi Kurzban, Step-Mother - Hope Campbell, Siblings - The Honorable Margaret A. Boyd (Mr. Jimmy L. Boyd), Ms. Carmen Campbell (residing in Austria), Mrs. Yvonne Campbell-Korner (residing in Germany), Mr. Winston Campbell Jr., Mr. Cavel Campbell, and Step-Brother, Mr. Dwight Chin-Sang, Aunts - Mrs. Marjorie Mais and The Honorable Myrtle Mason, Nieces - Marissa Finch (Syd Finch), Rachael Azadehnia (Erfan Azadehnia), Nephew - Brandon Boyd and her Baby Grandniece - Brooklyn Ashley Finch.
Sharon is also remembered by many loving Cousins - Suzette, Michele, Kerry-Ann, Richard, Anne, Clifford, Andrea, Diane, Suzanne, Alice, Christopher, Richard, Shapoor, Ron, and a host of other family members and dear friends.
