A person of remarkable quality who was capable of doing anything that she set her mind to, and ultimately she always accomplished exactly what she wanted to achieve. She along with Noah inspired their children to follow their hearts and dreams, always reminding them that if they were willing to do the work they would realize their goals. While Shirley was a homemaker, she worked with her husband much of their married life. Shirley cared deeply about others, always willing to lend assistance to anyone in need. Her generous nature, prompted her and Noah to open their home throughout the years to many dear, dear friends who became family. Shirley was an avid card player who enjoyed cruising, and the Florida sunshine. She loved her family and friends and held an especially sentimental spot in her heart for animals.
Over a decade ago, Shirley began to suffer the unforgiving illness of dementia and the slow but inexorable decline. Through this difficult journey, she was in the loving, devoted, gentle and kind hands of her husband, Noah, who stood with her, tending to her daily needs, comforting, and loving her deeply to the very end.
