Susan R. Kivler

Susan Rhoads Kivler, affectionately known as Sue, passed away on August 28, 2024, in Orlando, FL, at the age of 67. Born on June 6, 1957, in Pottstown, PA, Sue grew into a loving and outgoing individual, deeply committed to her faith and family.

Sue dedicated 20 years of her life to nurturing young minds as a preschool teacher, where she also shared her passion for art and music. An artist herself, Sue believed in the power of creative expression and its importance in early education. Beyond her professional life, she was a senior leader with the Boy Scouts of America, where she continued to influence and guide the youth.

A devout follower of Jesus Christ, Sue was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Winter Garden, where she participated in the women's study group. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, reflected in her commitment to Bible school and various church activities.

Sue cherished outdoor activities, including walking and bike riding, which mirrored her active and engaging approach to life. She was a loving wife to Bill Kivler, her husband of 44 years, and a devoted mother to her children, Kristen and Ian Kivler.

Memorial services will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Gotha, FL, on September 14, 2024, at 11am. The family invites friends and loved ones to join in celebrating Sue's life and legacy.

Sue's life was a testament to her profound love for others and her unwavering faith. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know her. As her husband poignantly remembers, "Sue is in Glory with Jesus, we will meet again."
