Violet Elise Gray

Violet graduated from Fairfield Morrian and received a nursing assistant degree from Greenwich Hospital.

She worked in the nursing field at Greenwich Hospital for 45 years; and had a passion for spending time with family and friends as well as opening her home to everyone.

Violet is survived by her children, Vivia Palmer, Veto Palmer and Bernadette Blake; grandchildren, Natasha Samuels, Leo Boland, Mona Lisa Palmer, Itasha Palmer, and Nadia Daley-Blake; great grandchildren, Daija Robertson, Aidan Estrada, Brianna O'Neil, Jhamella Pinto, and Jayden Lawrence, her sister, Yvonne Newman She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Deborah Newman, Michael Newman, Donna Newman, Sandra Newman, Pauline Newman-Taylor, Paul Newman and John Williams. As well as multiple family and friends.

A service for Violet will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.

The viewing will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM immediately followed by a funeral service which will occur from 1:00 Pm to 2:30 PM.

A committal service will occur 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM and repas will also be at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home afterwards.
