Our Mom said in her final wishes that she wanted to be cremated and did not want a big "fuss" made with her funeral.
So in respect to her wishes, instead of sending flowers, our family is inviting loved ones to donate to my charity.
My Chillax Om Foundation 501c3 Non Profit provides free acupuncture, stress management and self care education to public servants like front line health care workers and victims of tragedies like our family suffering the loss of our Mom due to a car accident, www.ChillaxOm.com/services/wellness-hour.

Our Mom and Dad, Mariano, helped me, Andrea, create my non-profit. We feel that through it we can honor our Mom's memory and legacy and give purpose to her very tragic death by giving back to other grieving families and front line health care workers like the ICU doctors & nurses that cared so well for her.
The Orlando Regional Medical Center ICU nurses held our Mom's hand, played music and sang to her in death in our absence. Mom returned to home to God in heaven while the ICU nurses held her hand, played and sang the song "I will always love you."
Thank you so very much for all your love and support and honoring our Mom's life and legacy with and through us. She always said she was happy she and dad had a good life. We thank you all for helping to make her and my dad's good life possible all these years and sharing it with us.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared for the Rivera family in the online guest book below.
