May 28, 2011 at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand
Blanc, MI. Rev. Adam Doyal officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday 10:00 A.M.
till the time of services. Bennie was born January 16, 1930 in Flint, MI to
parents George and Noma (Gross) Stephens. He retired after serving for 22
years in the U.S. Navy, later working 10 years for General Motors.
Surviving are children Dale Stephens, Gail (Brian) Zaremba, Michele
Shayler; brothers George Stephens, Larry Stephens; sister Shirley Short;
many grand and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in
death by wife Marjorie, wife Letty; special friend Lucille; daughter Anne
Marie Schaaf and parents, brothers and sisters.
