

NORKO, Brandon Americo, age 36, of Grand Blanc, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:00PM Friday, July 12, 2013 at St. John Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski celebrant. The family will receive friends 12:00PM Friday until time of Mass at the church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 1-4 & 6-8PM Thursday at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. A rosary will be 6PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
Brandon was born December 7, 1976 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire the son of Anthony Paul Norko and Mary Ann (Hildebrant) Tubbs. He married Sarah Elizabeth Kaechele on December 31, 2008 at St. John Catholic Church, Davison.
Brandon was a proud 1995 graduate of Powers Catholic High School where he was a standout athlete. He continued his education and athleticism at Adrian College winning a conference championship with the football team. After college Brandon went on to work with his step-father, managing Pontiac Brokers in Waterford. Brandon enjoyed golf and snow skiing, taking several trips to various slopes in Colorado and California with family and friends. He was also a loyal fan of Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish. Brandon's favorite time of the year was Christmas and he was famous for his decorations which lit up the neighborhood and made everyone smile. He treasured his family dearly; they were the most important part of his life.
Surviving are his loving wife, Sarah; father, Tony and Cyndi Norko of Plymouth; mother, Mary Ann and BradTubbs of Lapeer; grandparents, Edward and Jina Norko of Flushing, Winston and Noreen Hildebrant of Flushing, Zelda Hynes of Florida, Leona Tubbs of Grayling; sisters Andrea Tubbs of Las Vegas, Casey Tubbs of Kalamazoo; brother, Daniel Norko of Grand Rapids; nephew, Brayden Rattering; mother-in-law, Dorothy Kaechele of Middleville; all of the loving Kaechele family members; and so many good, good friends.
