Catherine Amelia Liskey

LISKEY, CATHERINE age 90, went to be with her Savior, Sunday, December 8, 2013 surrounded by family. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, MI, Pastor Douglas Jackson officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Catherine was born June 1, 1923, in Scotland, TX to parents Bernard and Anna (Moer) Hoepfner. She married Glen E. Liskey, February 15, 1946 in Ft. Worth, TX; he preceded her in death December 2, 1998. She was employed by the Grand Blanc Post Office for 15 years, retiring in 1977. She resided in Grand Blanc until 1991 before moving to Saginaw. She was a member of Community Baptist Church, Saginaw. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to all 50 states and Canadian Provinces. Surviving are children Linda Liskey, Jean (David) Gartee, Gary Liskey, Donald Liskey; grandchildren Angie (Tim) Topolinski, Megan (Adam) Lawson, Erica (Josh) Davis, Maggie (Ross Beaton) Liskey, great-grandchildren Emma and Madison Topolinski, Colin and Claire Lawson, Emily Davis, Blake Beaton; sister-in-law Virginia Liskey. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Community Baptist Church or the Saginaw Rescue Mission.
