Cipriano Meza Martinez Jr.

MARTINEZ, Cipriano Meza Jr. – age 72 of Grand Blanc, MI passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015. Visitation will be Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 11AM – 6PM. A funeral service will be held at 6PM at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Cipriano was born June 25, 1942 in Brownsville, TX to the late Cipriano and Elisa (Meza) Sr. He married Ninfa Piña on December 31, 1967 in Donna, TX. Cipriano worked for General Motors for over 30 years before retiring in 1999. He loved fishing, the Detroit Tigers, music, Jaws, and Godzilla. However, his grandchildren were his pride and joy. Surviving are his wife, Ninfa Martinez; children, Marisela Martinez, Cristela (Mike) Tingley, Melisa (Rob) Trudeau, and Cipriano Martinez III; grandchildren, Katisha, Mercedes, Cipy, Brionna, Alisa, Alexiss, Monique, Jesse, Cierra, Emma, Jesika, Giovanni, Bryce, and Selena; sisters, Lupe (Emilio) Quintanilla, Martha Treviño, Melin Jaquez, Jane (Roy) Jaquez, Juan Martinez, Yolanda Martinez, and Rosa Martinez. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Pete Martinez, Frank Martinez, and Alfonso Martinez. Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
