MOODY, Clara B., age 101, of Bossier City, LA, formerly of Flint, died Sunday, August 14, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1 pm Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc. Interement to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 4 pm to 8 pm. Clara was born on October 17, 1909 in Linden, daughter of the late Samuel and Florence (Root) Markell. She is survived by her four children, Ned Owen (Louise) Nuttle of Lima, Ohio, Joyce Siler of Greenfield, Missouri, Stanley Robert (Marie) Moody of Caro, Michigan and Rosemary (Robert) Glazier of Bossier City, Louisiana. Also survived by 88 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Clara was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Moody, son Patrick Nuttle, and 5 brothers and sisters. Memorials may be made to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.
