Doris Lorraine West

West, Doris Lorraine 12/2/1930 - 3/22/2023 Metamora, Michigan. Our beloved Mother Doris Lorraine West sadly passed away on March 22nd at the age of 92 surrounded by family in her home. She was born in Clio, Michigan in 1930. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was always there for her family throughout her life. She leaves behind 9 children and their spouses, 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. After raising her family, she worked as a make up consultant at JC Penny where she was recognized and awarded for her devotion to client needs. Our Mother had a wonderful life because she was loved by the countless people she touched throughout her life. There will be a private viewing for immediate family at Browns Funeral Home in Grand Blanc on Monday, March 27th. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life at 11am at the Chapel at Flint Memorial Park in Mount Morris. A luncheon will follow at 1:30pm at the White Horse Restaurant in Metamora. Please send flowers to Brown Funeral Home in Grand Blanc or make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
