Dorothy Emery Chambers

Chambers, Dorothy Emery 89 of Flint, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 25, 2019. She is survived by her sons Robert (Rhonda) Emery, James (Joan) Emery; grandchildren Scott Emery, (Randy) Shannon Smith, Michael Emery, Obadiah Brian Emery, and great-grandchildren Gage and Hunter Smith. Dorothy was preceded in death by husbands Paul Emery and Don Chambers. Dorothy was an active member of Court Street United Methodist Church where she spent many years working with the Acolyte program, a 50+ year member of the Boy Scouts of America, active in the Children of the America Revolution, Daughters of the American Revolution, Mayflower Society, Genesee County Historical Society, and the Flint Genealogy Society. Dorothy also clerked for Weight Watchers for 18 years. Her happy and fun loving personality will be missed by all who knew her. A Funeral Service celebrating Dorothy’s life will be held at 2 PM. Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Hill Funeral Home 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Jeremy Peters officiating.
