Elaine Horton

Elaine was born on October 30, 1946, in Milan, Indiana, and graduated from Goodrich High School in 1964. She will be remembered with deep affection for the simple joys she embraced so wholeheartedly—especially her love of the color purple and her enjoyment of shopping, both of which reflected her warm spirit and eye for beauty.

For many years, Elaine worked as a beautician at Cameo Beauty Salon, a vocation well-suited to her care for others and appreciation for style and detail. She also worked part-time at different boutiques. Elaine and her husband, Rick Horton, were loyal members of Faith Lutheran Church, where their faith and devotion were an enduring part of their lives.

Elaine married the love of her life, Rick Horton, on August 13, 1966. The comfort of knowing they are together again in heaven brings peace to those who loved her.

Elaine is survived by her siblings, Marilyn Riemer, Judy Kraft, and her brother, Bob Reinker; her daughters, Rayne Stebbins (Matt) and Rochelle Kononchuk (John); and her beloved grandchildren, Whitney, Brady, Ava Joan, and Nadia, to whom she was the best Grandma.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 pm at the church.

Elaine will be laid to rest at the Goodrich Cemetery.
