SANFORD, Elizabeth L. (Shultz) – formerly of Goodrich, age 87, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 . Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI. Burial follows at Goodrich Cemetery. Visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice in Goodrich. Elizabeth was born in Detroit, MI on April 23, 1925, the daughter of the late Warren and Carrie Logan. She had been a member of the Goodrich United Methodist Church and was a lifetime member of the Genesee County Farm Bureau. Surviving are: 3 sons, Charles (Jean), Bob (Emy), and Tom (Brenda); 2 daughters, Donna (Mike) Halaby and Betty (Steve) Beers; daughter-in-law, Sally; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Sanford, second husband, Robert Shultz, son, Jim Sanford, and 2 sisters. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.hillfh.com.
