CUMMINGS, Emily – formerly of Flint, age 93, passed away in Florida on January 31, 2014. Visitation will be held from 11 am to 2 pm and 5 to 8 pm Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI.
Emily was born February 24, 1920 in Midland, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Vasco and Margaret Lubich. She retired from G.M. Parts in Swartz Creek in 1979. She loved to sew, play bingo and work in her yard. Surviving are: daughters, Charlotte Smith, Margaret Brumley and Patricia Anderson; grandsons, William and Christopher Cronan; granddaughter, Pamela Blackstock; great-grandchildren, Felicia Sproul, Gabriell Pitts, Adrianna Blackstock, Samantha Blackstock; and brother, Alex (and his wife Betty) Lubich. Mrs. Cummings was preceded in death by her: husband, Charles; brothers, John and George; and sisters, Mary, Helen, Mildred, Angeline, Dorothy, Stella and Olga.
